Are you looking for that perfect Valentine’s Day gift?  According to research from San Francisco State University, new experiences lead to greater satisfaction. People who spent on experiential purchases such as concerts or a night on the town, were more likely to be happy than those spending on material possessions.

This Valentine’s Day, ditch those dreary flower and chocolate gifts and send your Valentine a gift from the heart. Be thoughtful and romantic and say “I love you” in a language of their choice.   Or write your Valentine a love letter or translate a special poem to another language.

As Nelson Mandela stated, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head.  If you talk to him in his own language that goes to his heart.”
