How to Ask Are You Ok?

Following the wonderful feedback we received for our “Words Matter” webinars, and in recognition of October being Mental Health Awareness Month in Australia, we are pleased to offer a new, free webinar:
“How to Ask Are You Ok?” on Thursday 13 October at 4pm (AEDT).

In the one-hour session you will learn:

  • About R U OK? Day
  • The importance of connection for mental wellbeing
  • Mental health statistics in Australia
  • The signs someone may not be OK
  • How to ask: “Are you OK?” and the four-step process.

Megan Barrow

The webinar will be delivered by R U OK? Day Community Ambassador Megan Barrow who will also share her lived experience of anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia. Megan volunteers her time as a speaker with both R U OK? and Beyond Blue and is dedicated to reducing the stigma around mental health issues and teaching the power of connections and conversations.
