Translationz Medical Mentorship Program

We are excited to announce that Translationz will be running a 4-week Medical Mentorship Program this coming May 2025.

The program aims to enhance interpreters' expertise in healthcare settings, led by Janet Lor alongside expert guest speakers. The program will cover medical terminology, cultural competence, ethical boundaries, and professional conduct. Participants will gain practical strategies for navigating medical vocabulary, bridging cultural gaps, upholding ethical standards, and ensuring professionalism across all interpreting modes. Held Thursdays at 4:00 PM AEST via Zoom, each session offers interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and expert insights to support interpreters in delivering high-quality healthcare communication.
